Here it is…the biggest change in advertising since the 90s. No hype. This is huge. It’s based on several things that all occurred simultaneously. And here’s all of it:
1. Last week Google released a service for mobile devices called Click to Call. It enables the mobile device user to find the service or product they’re looking for using a Google search, then click on it directly to contact the business.
Internet Marketing Questions Answered
During my live Tuesday night show, I always answer questions asked to me by public in the live chats. This week a lot of questions about internet marketing were asked and answered. And I thought it would be helpful to post that video here for those of you who are interested in answers to any of the following questions:
What is the future of Adwords?
My Adwords account has been under review for two weeks. Is that normal?
What is the future of mobile websites?
Dos and Donts of Recession Marketing
This is one time where it’s VITAL that you don’t follow your instincts. During a recession, it’s common for businesses to cut back their advertising and marketing expenditures. But what you should be doing is the exact opposite.
This has been proven countless times throughout history. According to David Ogilvy, the “Father of Advertising”, “Studies of the last six recessions have demonstrated that companies which do not cut back their advertising budgets achieve greater increases in profit than companies which cut back.” He goes on to say, “In a survey of 40,000 men and women involved in the purchase of 23 industrial products over five years, it was found that share-of-market went up in bad times – when advertising was continued.”

Think about it, when you’re looking for restaurants, doctors, car repair shops or any of thousands of businesses you’ll need to actually visit, what do YOU put in the search field? Chances are you enter your own town into the search so that you don’t just get a list of places all over the world, right? Right. As a business owner, it’s vital that your company is represented online so that it actually shows up in these searches.
My New Year’s Resolution

I was just talking about this last week on the show, and it looks like today is a big day for mobile advertising!
Google’s really getting serious about mobile advertising. In November they purchased AdMob, a mobile display ad technology provider, for $750 million. If you’ve seen skinny horizontal ads at the top of an iPhone app or game, those have most likely been AdMob’s doing. In the past, AdMob has concentrated on mobile display ads, while Google has focused on search ads.
Top 3 Adsense Research Tools
Everyone wants to make money with Adsense. And why not? It’s free to set it up and has the potential to be an additional source of income for you. But there’s more to making money with Adsense than just setting up your account and letting it go. That’s the mistake a lot of people make. So how DOES one make money with Adsense?
All About Adsense: A Public Q and A
One of the great things about Bill’s live show is the chat feature. You can ask questions while the show is on and get them answered live! On 24 November, Bill did quite an extensive question and answer period on the subject of Adsense, Adsense and nothing but Adsense. There were questions from the BusinessInnerCircle.com forum presented and answered, as well as live questions from both the public chat in Livestream and the members only chat in BusinessInnerCircle.com. As a side note, the members only chat members have priority in question answering. So if you have questions about online marketing, internet businesses and want them answered, the best way is to sign up to BusinessInnerCircle.com and then watch the show from there.
Is Adsense Less Profitable Now Than 2 Years Ago?
Bill was asked in his live online show why he uses Adsense less now than he did in 2007, when he posted his infamous and enormous Adsense check in a video on Youtube. He gave two reasons for the change in how he uses Adsense now. Watch his reply in the video below. And stop by BusinessInnerCircle.com Tuesday nights at 6:30 pm PST for lots of training about Adsense, Google, social networks, and many other topics related to online businesses. The goal? To make your business more profitable by learning from Bill’s mistakes instead of wasting a lot of time learning things through trial and error.
