A 3rd party web service/company that acts as a link (intermediary) between affiliates and vendors. Some of the services they offer include reporting tools, tracking technology and payment processing facilities. In addition to this, they also store a database of products and product merchants, usually sorted into different keywords and categories. This way, affiliates can easily look up products/vendors they are interested in promoting.
